Due to the new Ecodesign Regulation, products in the EU economic area must become sustainable from February 2027. The presentation by Dr. Uwe Rüdel from GS1 Switzerland at the last aclevion Exchange made it clear exactly what this means and why it affects most Swiss companies. However, he also showed that the topic offers a number of opportunities and gave clear recommendations for action to be well prepared in good time with PIM and end-to-end data management.
