Founded in 1939, Swiss-based Pilatus Flugzeugwerke AG develops and manufactures world-leading training aircraft for pilot training, as well as unique multi-purpose aircraft, business jets and business aircraft such as the PC-12, the most widely used business jet in the USA. The company not only has its own international subsidiaries, but also works with over 20 sales centers worldwide that sell the aircraft.
In order to increase international awareness and sales, the company agreed with the sales centers on marketing expenditures for Pilatus-related campaigns, which the central marketing department was unable to easily control in the previous process using Excel files. A new system for the governance and control of all marketing expenditures was needed that would be simple and inexpensive on the one hand, and on the other hand would enable full transparency and easy operation by the sales centers.
